Lately there is information again and again that Golden are tested as prcd PRA carrier or affected.

It is the same case as with the Labrador: A carrier will never go blind.

But a carrier or affected dog should only be bred with a partner which is clear, thus neither carrier nor affected.

In both cases you will not receive prcd PRA affected dogs - at the most carrier but they will never have  a prcd PRA eye problem.
